Pastoral Ministry

New Life Bible Institute's pastoral ministry program is designed for students who are interested in serving in a pastoral role within a church or other ministry setting. The program provides students with a comprehensive education that covers a wide range of topics related to pastoral ministry, including preaching, pastoral care, and church administration.

The preaching component of the program focuses on teaching students how to effectively communicate the Word of God through preaching. Students will learn about the art of homiletics, including how to develop sermons, how to structure a sermon, and how to deliver sermons in a way that is engaging and impactful.

The pastoral care component of the program focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to provide care and support to members of their congregation. This includes learning about counseling techniques, how to provide pastoral care in a crisis, and how to deal with difficult situations that may arise in a church setting.

The program also includes opportunities for practical experience through internships, where students will have the opportunity to work with experienced pastors and gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

NOTE: Students must complete Programs 1-3 before enrolling in the Pastoral Ministry Program. This is a specialty program that is an option after year three of theology.
