About Us
New Life Bible Institute (NLBI) is a Christian educational institution that was established in 2016. The mission of NLBI is to provide students with a strong foundation in the Bible and to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in ministry and leadership roles. The institute is committed to academic excellence and spiritual formation, and it emphasizes the integration of faith and learning in all of its programs. NLBI is accredited by Accrediting Commission International and is located in Galatia, IL, and is an extension campus of Life Christian University.
Our Mission
At New Life Bible Institute, our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve God and impact the world for the better. We aim to provide an education that is firmly rooted in biblical principles and values, fostering spiritual growth and development in our students.
Our programs are designed to integrate faith and learning, encouraging individuals to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Student Life
Life Groups
Students are also encouraged to participate in small groups, which are led by faculty and staff members. Our small groups are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment to study the Bible, discuss their faith, and build relationships with others. Our small groups are designed to be a place where students can connect, and grow in their relationship with God.
Chapel Service
At New Life Bible Institute, we place a strong emphasis on the spiritual growth and development, of our students. Our chapel service and Life Groups are an integral part of that. Our weekly chapel service is an opportunity for the entire NLBI community to come together, worship, hear teachings, and, engage in discussions.
Hands-On Experience
The institute encourages students to develop their teaching and preaching skills. We provide our students with the opportunity to share their faith and inspire other students, so they can grow deeper in their faith and become equipped to serve others. Students will also gain practical hands-on experience through a variety of opportunities such as serving in local churches, participating in mission trips, and internships in a variety of ministry settings.
Life Missions
One of the highlights our students love about our campus is the opportunity to take what they have learned into the mission field for the Kingdom of God. Our campus encourages our students to take at least one mission trip. We have opportunities to participate in local, domestic, and international mission trips. One of our ministry partners is Praying Pelican Missions.
A Custom Program for You!
AUDIT | CERTIFICATE
New Life Bible Institute offers a variety of enrollment options. These options include audit students and certificate students.
Audit students are individuals who wish to take a course to deepen their understanding of Biblical truths. They have the opportunity to attend classes, participate in discussions, and receive feedback on their work, but they do not have to write papers or take exams. Upon completion of the required coursework, audit students will receive a certificate of attendance for each program they complete.
Certificate students are individuals who wish to take courses and pursue studies on a more professional level. They have the opportunity to attend classes, participate in discussions, and receive feedback on their work, and are required to write papers and take exams. Upon completion of the required coursework, certificate students will receive a certificate of completion for each program they attend.

New Life Bible Institute's Christian Counseling program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to provide faith-based counseling and therapy. Students will learn about different counseling models and techniques and will have the opportunity to explore the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when working with clients from a faith-based perspective.
New Life Bible Institute's theology program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in biblical studies, theology, and ministry. The program also includes opportunities for practical ministry experience, through which students can apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-world situations. This can include things like serving in local churches, participating in mission trips, and internships in a variety of ministry settings.
New Life Bible Institute's pastoral ministry program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to serve in pastoral and leadership roles within the church and other ministry settings. The program focuses on providing students with a solid foundation in biblical studies, theology, and pastoral care, as well as equipping them with the leadership skills they will need to be effective ministers.
